Sound Waves is, without a doubt, the reference festival in Portugal in the field of hard techno. After its success in the past editions, Winter and Summer, the next 8 February 2025 in Lisbon, stands out as an important date among lovers of techno and its derivatives with 10 hours of Festival between 20h and 06h.

1. The return of 999999999 as headliners:

Carlo and Giovanni are two icons of the hard techno scene, acid techno e neorave. Two years ago they were in charge of closing the summer edition and now they are back with a new visual show even more complete.

2. Female talent:

Sound Waves has always stood out for the parity of genres in its line ups. Lee Ann Roberts and Ornella will be the female representation. Lee Ann Roberts is an icon of the scene, having triumphed in every possible venue and is here to demonstrate her talent and versatility in Lisbon. Representing her country, we have Ornella, Sound Waves resident and one of the most in-form artists of the schranz sound.

3. Industrial more present than ever:

This genre will be represented by two young talents. The great producer and showman Fantasm, who arrives at the best moment of his career with anthems like Place On Fire, and the force of nature that is Hades, famous for mixing demonic melodies like in I Am Everything I Hate.

4. A fresh breath between the hard sounds:

Bad Boombox. One of the top representatives of the techno groove movement, also the owner of Hot Meal Records will delight the audience.

5. A magical venue, the Carlos Lopes Pavilion:

One of the most emblematic and historic buildings in the city of Lisbon.

2025 starts with the Winter Editionin Lisbon but there is much more to come. An Invites Edition on March 8th in Porto with Winson, Fernanda Martins, Tanja Miju, Negitiv, Ornella and Pestdokter, and the date for their long awaited 20th anniversary festival on July 5th in Esmoriz.
