The 30-year-old Brit, Frederick John Philip Gibson, known as Fred again, is an English multi-talented artist who has captured the hearts of many electronic music fans with his live performances and, above all, his modest and authentic personality. One of the performances that resonated with fans was the Tiny Desk Concert, released in April of last year on NPR MUSIC’s YouTube channel.
The 26-minute breathtaking performance, accompanied by his own vocals, piano playing, vibraphone, marimba, and other instruments, was recently released as a limited edition vinyl. The number of copies was significantly limited, leading to a literal sell-out within seconds. Fred has announced that he plans to launch a vinyl series called “IRL,” where each installment will be tied to his live performances.
