The Brazilian artist is celebrating his 25 years career with a special EP, “Blood Moon”, and performances at some of the world’s top Clubs and Festivals.
Hard techno has taken the global electronic music scene by storm. Audiences crave it, and artists are adapting to this powerful sound. However, it’s important to remember that before it became trendy, there were already pioneers championing the genre. One of those pioneers is Lucas Freire, better known as Lukas, a Brazilian mastermind whose DJ sets never leave anyone indifferent and whose productions are sublime.
With a career spanning 25 years, Lukas has refined his technique to become one of the most skilled artists behind the decks. His sets are true sonic journeys, led by hard techno but also incorporating classic techno, schranz, industrial influences, acid elements, and even touches of hardcore. This fusion of styles and influences creates performances that strike the perfect balance between technical precision, elegance, and raw power. His undeniable charisma and passion allow him to connect effortlessly with the dance floor, delivering exactly what the crowd didn’t even know they were looking for.
Born in Brazil and based in Barcelona, Spain, Lukas is not only an exceptional DJ but also an accomplished Producer. Alongside Fernanda Martins, he runs three influential labels: Audiocode Records, Hardwork Records and Devotion Records– key players in the hard techno and techno scene.

Label head and legendary force in the hard techno scene, Lukas, is up next for Audiocode Records with his club-shaking EP “Blood Moon” . As one of his only releases this year, this special edition marks his 25-year milestone as a DJ and producer and is a masterclass in high-intensity techno.
The title track, “Blood Moon”, balances haunting melodies with raw, unrelenting power, weaving nostalgia into a relentless, driving rhythm. On the flip side, “Push It” delivers pure, high-voltage energy, characteristically punchy, hard-hitting and engineered to showcase the style that has positioned him at the forefront of the genre. This release celebrates his legacy and is a true testament to Lukas’ enduring impact on the scene.

The artist who has already toured half the world with his music has a tour in Spain with brands such as: Blackworks Granada (May 3rd) or DURO Barcelona (April 19th) where he will unleash all his talent together with Fernanda Martins in very special sets. They will perform on 4 decks (4 CDJs and 2 mixers), a very characteristic way of playing where they will combine their talent and chemistry to give us memorable performances. In addition, the duo will be in Belgium with Skillz on April 26th and will return to Spain to play in Vigo (Hyperlink, May 17th) and Ciudad Real (Pulse Festival, May 31st). On the other hand, Lukas will be in Piedrabuena on May 10th for Drknss festival.
More surprises are in store for the future, including a track with one of the artists of the moment – Vendex. “Your Soul Is Mine” will be released on 2nd June on Audiocode Specials volume 006 and combines the madness and cinematic epicness of the masked man with the elegance and craft of the Brazilian. A track that is tearing up stages like at Verknipt Brazil where Lukas closed his set with this collaboration.
On 16th June the explosive remix of “Resonate” with the great Fernanda Martins will be released for the young German talent, PRAKAS, on his second EP “Ego Disco” on the label.
