Tickets are available here now.
Set against the gritty backdrop of an industrial site, Docklands once again delivers a thoughtfully curated line-up spanning a wide spectrum of electronic genres all in an intimate setting that allows dancers to get up close and personal with world-class DJs. There are no massive barriers, no distant stages, just a deep connection between crowd and artists that is direct and immersive with high spec production adding to the escapist experience. It has been that way for a full 15 years, but you can expect an extra-special atmosphere at this anniversary celebration.
Docklands Festival, voted in 2024 as the best German electronic music festival by the respected GROOVE Mag, was founded in 2010. It is recognised throughout the scene as a must-attend event for fans of authentic electronic music thanks to its careful curation and dedication to next level design and production. It has grown year on year and always sells out, with 15,000 people expected in 2025.
This year, Docklands Festival has had a full refresh, which sees the house and techno Mainstage taking on an all-new look, deep house Kanello Stage has an edgy subcultural style, and the house and techno Tree Stage becomes the Rail Stage. It is located along an old rail line and will be hosted by revered international house and techno brand HE.SHE.THEY. and cult label Kittball Records, while the hard techno and neo-trance Kamp Stage is once again hosted by MINT in the courtyard of Sputnikhalle.
The festival takes place in the heart of Münster, on the grounds of the iconic Hawerkamp industrial site and along the Dortmund-Ems Canal. It offers a rare urban open-air experience with both daytime festival flair and then nighttime club atmospheres as the party moves into adjacent clubs from 10 PM onwards.
As well as the music, there is a vast food court, merchandise stands, and chill-out areas with a wide range of hotels and Airbnbs available in nearby Münster to suit all budgets.
Docklands Festival is a unique chance to dance to world-class electronic music in a raw setting that harks back to the early days of rave.
