Only 22-year-old Czech producer and DJ, Dominik Gehringer, released his new track titled “Strange World” on February 2, 2024, in collaboration with Purified Records, under the patronage of Nora En Pure. “StrangeWorld” is melodic music combined with energetic beats that will get you out of your seats. This track has already been played by world-renowned DJs such as Nora En Pure and Agents of Time at global festivals and events like Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza in Chicago, Zamna Tulum in Mexico, Awakenings in Amsterdam, and Ultra in Croatia. The globally famous Tiesto has shown interest in this song and played it during his radio show Clublifeby Tiësto. Stay tuned, Strange World will rock it.

Today is the release day of the very expected track from your production „Strange World“ on Purified which already had huge success around the world on the big stages and radio shows played by Tiesto, Nora en Pure, Agents of Times and did I forget anyone?
Yes, I really didn’t expect the track to be such a big success the feedback was mind-blowing. When I started making music about 4.5 years ago, one of my production goals was to get my music to Tomorrowland and this year I did it twice. I couldn’t be happier!
Could you walk us throw your creative process, when you were working on this track? Where did you get the inspiration?
I started working on it at the beginning of the summer and the inspiration was an old song released more than twenty years ago by Push.
You embarked on your musical journey at 16. Since then, how has your sound evolved and who has been the greatest influence on your musical style?
Music is constantly evolving, so you need to follow trends and keep yourself inspired. My biggest music idol right now is Franky Wah, Cassian, Artbat…
Purified released many tracks from your production already and you are a good friend of Nora en Pure. Can you remember your initial meeting with her? What were your first impressions?
I remember playing with her for the first time at the Roxy almost 3 years ago! Time flies so fast…I was nervous but excited since then we have seen each other several times and become friends. Nora is a very nice and sympathetic lady. I’ve been releasing music on Purified since 2021 when I was 18 years old. They’re professionals and I love to work with them, I like the way they work, and it’s that they give young no-name artists a chance just like they gave me 2 years ago. I would say Purified is one of the best melodic labels (top 10), so when you release music there it has always attention if it’s good.
Is there a dream festival or iconic venue where you aspire to perform? Could you share with us your ultimate performance wishlist?
When I started with music, it was my dream to travel with music all over the world but if I had to choose two gigs It would be Tomorrowland and Tulum in Mexico.
Melodic techno is gaining worldwide. Is it also popular in your homeland, the Czech Republic?
I would say it’s getting better, but still here’s a very small community compared to abroad. My only way is to move abroad…..
What is the plan for 2024, are you working on some special projects? And which gigs you are the most looking forward to this year?
I’m working on a lot of new projects almost every day so yeah I’m super excited currently on a special remix of a famous pop band.
The next release will be with singer Jordan Arts.
As we look to 2024, are there any special projects in the pipeline that you’re particularly excited about? Additionally, what shows are you the most looking forward to this year?
With this release, I have more possibilities and I’m already working on some dates abroad, I can’t wait for it 🙂
