Hello Gamuel, LoudLife has a couple of questions for you, how would you describe your sound in three words?

Three words to describe my sound? I’d say eclectic, energetic, and soulful.

What do you prefer more – producing or DJ’ing?

Ah, the eternal debate! While both producing and DJing hold a special place in my heart, if I had to choose, I’d say producing. There’s something magical about crafting melodies and beats from scratch.

Your upcoming single with Tujamo is generating a lot of excitement. Can you share the inspiration behind this collaboration and what fans can expect from the new track?

The upcoming single with Tujamo is indeed something to look forward to. The inspiration behind this collaboration stems from our mutual love for high-energy tracks that get people moving. Fans can expect a fusion of our signature styles, resulting in a dancefloor anthem with a unique twist.

You’ve collaborated with other artists including INNA, Gromee, and Reigns. How do these collaborations come about?

Collaborations with artists like INNA, Gromee, and Reigns often come about through mutual admiration for each other’s work, as well as through label connections and creative synergies. It’s all about finding the right chemistry and vibe to create something special together.

Songs like ‘Deja Vu’ and ‘Glitterball’ have received significant airplay. What, in your opinion, is the key to creating a hit that resonates with listeners across Europe?

Creating hits like ‘Deja Vu’ and ‘Glitterball’ that resonate with listeners across Europe involves a combination of catchy melodies, relatable lyrics, and infectious beats. It’s about striking a balance between familiarity and innovation, while also tapping into the universal emotions that connect us all.

Are there any particular trends or genres you’re currently exploring in the music? What do you see to be the next “big thing” in the electronic music scene?

In terms of trends and genres, I’m currently exploring the intersection of electronic dance music with elements of disco. As for the next “big thing” in the electronic music scene, I believe there’s a growing interest in hybrid genres and experimental sounds that push the boundaries of traditional EDM.

You were selected by YSL to play at one of their fashion events. How was that experience, and how do you prepare differently for a fashion environment, compared to a music festival or club performance?

Playing at a YSL fashion event was an incredible experience. Preparing for such an environment involves curating a playlist that complements the brand’s aesthetic and sets the right mood for the event. It’s about creating an immersive experience that blends music and fashion seamlessly.

Similarly to fashion, what are your other interests outside of music? How does Gamuel Sori unwind?

Outside of music, I’m quite passionate about staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Sport plays a big role in my routine. I find that engaging in physical activities not only helps me stay fit but also clears my mind and boosts my creativity.

What have been some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced in your career, and how have you overcome them?

Like any journey, my career has had its share of challenges. From navigating the competitive music industry to overcoming creative blocks, each challenge has been an opportunity for growth and learning. Surrounding myself with a supportive team and staying true to my vision have been key in overcoming these obstacles.

What’s next for you in 2024? Are there any specific goals or milestones you’re aiming to achieve?

In 2024, I’m focused on continuing to evolve as an artist, exploring new musical territories, and connecting with fans around the world. Specific goals include releasing more original music, expanding my presence in the international music scene, and pushing the boundaries of my creativity.
