Sound Waves Festival has 19 years of history and is one of the festivals in Europe that exceeds 20 hours non stop within the Techno and Hard Techno scene.

Festival Sound Waves has announced the full line up for its 17th edition in Esmoriz, Portugal, scheduled for July 6th. The headliners are: I Hate Models, Sara Landry, Shlømo, Deborah de Luca, Azyr, 6EJOU, Dyen, Franck, Joanna Coelho, Miss Sheila, VENDEX, Ornella, Stëh b2b Madson Carpenter and PK b2b LEMØS.
The venue’s doors open at 5pm and the rave ends at 1:30pm the following day, bringing thousands of festival-goers to the north of the country with more than 20 hours of non stop music. The line up was launched in three phases and present 16 international and national talents in the most varied aspects of techno.
Frenchman I Hate Models, considered today’s techno artist, leads the line up at Sound Waves, raising the bar for the best edition ever. On the list of the most coveted artists on the planet and one of the headliners of the 17th edition, the American Sara Landry, will bring her techno sound to Esmoriz. The “Papi” of hard techno and well-known French producer Shlømo joins with the energy that characterizes him.
The world powerhouse from Naples, the iconic Deborah de Luca returns to the 2024 edition after 7 years of her last presence at the festival where she left her mark. The British phenomenon, Azyr, will set the dance floor on fire and the French 6EJOU will guarantee a live set at the highest level. Directly from the Netherlands, Dyen will be present with his aggressive rhythms and from Scotland comes Franck, one of the producers of the moment for the first time in Portugal.
After 2 memorable appearances, in the Winter and Xmas editions of Sound Waves, Joanna Coelho, an artist much loved by the public, makes her debut in Esmoriz. In the 17th edition, one of the names with the most presence at the event could not be missed, Miss Sheila, the reference of national techno. VENDEX will stand out in the line up with a journey of dark rhythms. National artist Ornella will play an incendiary and infectious set, and for the first time at the festival, Brazilians Stëh and Madson Carpenter will perform in a b2b format.
The summer 2024 edition of the Sound Waves Festival will be memorable with a remarkable line up, full of rising artists on the international scene and leading icons on the global techno scene.
