Interview with Nadine Vinzens:
Nadine, Congratulations on the release of’ Diz One’ on Mark Reeve’s new imprint, You Are Loved. How did your connection with Mark come about and how does it feel to be part of his label’s journey?
Thank you very much. Mark is my boyfriend, we met about 5 years ago and one day we had the idea to create something together. We wanted to channel our love and passion into a label that reflects our journey. “You Are Loved” is a reminder that everyone has someone who cares for them, and no one is ever truly alone.
Mark Reeve is a well-known figure in the scene. Did you receive any mentorship or advice from him during the production or release of ‘Diz One’?
Yes, Mark has been incredibly supportive throughout the process. While he gave me the creative freedom to explore my own sound, he also offered valuable insights along the way. His experience in the industry and attention to detail really helped fine-tune the final version of ‘Diz One.’ Having someone like Mark in your corner definitely pushes you to deliver your best, and his feedback was instrumental in shaping the track for the release.
The tech house scene is constantly evolving. As a producer, what excites you most about where the genre is heading?
What excites me most about the tech house scene is its constant evolution and openness to new influences. Right now, we’re seeing a blend of genres that push boundaries, bringing in elements from deeper, more melodic sounds while still maintaining that signature groove. Honestly, I love Tech House that really takes off. I’m someone with a lot of energy, and I want to show it.
As a producer, it’s inspiring to be part of a genre that embraces experimentation while staying true to its roots. I love how there’s always room for innovation, and the energy of the scene keeps things fresh and exciting for both artists and listeners.

Many DJs and producers have their signature performance style. How would you describe your approach?
I’d describe my approach as energy-driven and immersive. I aim to create a journey that balances groove with intensity, always reading the crowd to keep the vibe alive. For me, it’s about blending my own sound with the moment, making each set unique and connecting with the audience on a deeper level. I personally also love rythms with a strong baseline and I love it when the vibe is intense, and people are dancing like crazy.
In a male-dominated industry, what’s your perspective on being a female DJ/producer in the tech house scene?
Being a female DJ/producer in a male-dominated industry comes with its challenges, but I see it as an opportunity to bring diversity and a unique perspective to the tech house scene. The landscape is definitely changing, with more women getting the recognition they deserve. It’s inspiring to be part of that shift, and I hope to continue paving the way for future female artists.
What’s next for you in terms of new music or live performances?
I’ve got some exciting new music on the way and with winter just around the corner, I’m really looking forward to playing in the mountains and bringing those vibes to the season.
