INTERVIEW WITH PABLO SAY
Hi Pablo, How’s it going in Ibiza? We know that when you were here in Slovakia you didn’t enjoy the heat very much?
In Ibiza it’s great, I’ve been very calm and focused with the productions this winter. In Slovakia it was very cold, yes, I don’t like the cold, hahaha.
Congratulations on your release Outta Space on Eli Brown’s Arcane label. What are the plans for this year? Lots of unreleased tracks lying in the drawer? Alternatively, do you have anything interesting signed already that you could reveal to us?
Yes, I’m very happy to have another release on Arcane at the end of May, I also have two collaborations with my friend Anna Tur on Truesoul and Union Three
You’re currently specifying a club techno sound. Has it always been like that? Or did you start out with a completely different style?
Well, I’ve had many styles throughout my career, I like music a lot, and I’ve produced from House to good techno, although now my style could be defined more in a Techno Peak Time.
I’ve already interviewed you a bit in person and we know a bit about you from your instagram. That studio out there that you have on balcony, is that where you have it all year round?
hahahahaha, no, just to make the videos on Instagram, although I like the acoustics outside, there’s no sound bounce ahaha.
Do you come straight from Ibiza? Or is that just where you moved to further your music career? Have you played any interesting venues there?
I’m from Valencia, but Ibiza is a place where I’ve always liked to live, I’ve spent many years here, it’s a good place to make contacts and we’re also planning things for this summer.
Do you have a dream label or collaboration with an artist?
Yes, my dream would be to release on Drumcode, and for me I would love a good collaboration with Adam Beyer, Eli Brown or Layton Giordani.
I’m sure like everyone you have a musical inspiration, an artist that has changed your perception on music. Who was it and why?
Adam Beyer is my main mentor, because of his magic in his sets, the way his label works and the way he produces music.
How do you perceive the current ,,TECHNO,, trends in the world? Is it as strong here in Spain as it is in Central Europe? Can we expect some hard-techno tracks from you?
Yes, here in Spain techno is very strong, and nowadays hard techno even more, at the moment I’m not thinking of doing hard techno, but I don’t rule it out.
Thank you for accepting the invitation to join us at LoudLife, we wish you many successful tracks and may you do well!
Thank you very much for this interview for wishing me success and I hope to see you again very soon!
