London is gearing up for a night of electrifying beats and thrilling vibes as South Korean superstar DJ Peggy Gou takes center stage at the Squid Game Rave this December. The event, hosted by Netflix, celebrates the arrival of the much-anticipated Season 2 of the global phenomenon Squid Game.
The free rave will transform Drumsheds, London’s massive nightclub housed in the former Tottenham Ikea, into a dystopian playground. Taking place on December 18, the party promises an unforgettable experience with live DJs, Korean food, and plenty of Squid Game-themed fun. While admission is free, attendees should note that food and drinks will be available for purchase.
A Party to Remember
Drumsheds, the biggest nightclub in London, provides a fittingly industrial backdrop for this epic celebration. Its sprawling main dance floor is set to host Peggy Gou and a yet-to-be-revealed roster of DJs. Expect the usual techno mastery from Gou, known for her genre-blending sets and captivating stage presence.
This unique event takes inspiration from Squid Game’s darkly immersive world, swapping the deadly stakes of the show for pulsating beats and a crowd ready to dance the night away. It’s less “Red Light, Green Light” and more “big fish, little fish, cardboard box” as the night comes alive.
What to Expect
Squid Game, the globally acclaimed South Korean series, debuted in 2021 and quickly became a cultural sensation. The first season followed Seong Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) as he entered a sinister survival game to win nearly $40 million, only to discover the brutal cost of failure.
Season 2, launching on Boxing Day (December 26), sees Gi-hun returning to expose the deadly competition. Fans can whet their appetite for the new season at this pre-launch celebration.
